Video - Celebrating the Triple Jubilee in July 2026

The Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Apostles celebrates the 150th anniversary of its foundation in 2026. But this year is also special for the Fathers of the Society of African Missions (SMA), whose institute was founded in Lyon by Bishop Melchior De Marion-Brésillac in 1856, 170 years ago.

In 2026, we also celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth in Chemy (Nord) of Father Augustin Planque, first superior general of the SMA and founder of the congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Apostles.

To celebrate this significant triple jubilee for the entire Brésillac missionary family, special events are planned from July 22 to 28, 2026, in Benin and France.

Under the theme "Together, let us proclaim the Good News", these jubilees will be celebrated with joy, gratitude and a renewed missionary zeal!

We invite you to watch this video featuring Brother François du Penhoat, Superior General of the SMA, and Sister Mary Theresa Barron, Superior General of the NDA Sisters.
